The Lexus Melbourne Cup

This weekend, Thoroughbred Industry Careers (TIC) is the major sponsor of the largest Interschool Equestrian event in Australia in the star gazing capital of ‘Coonabarabran’ in NSW, which sits on the edge of the iconic Warrumbungle National Park (pop 2,500 people).

To celebrate this huge volunteer-led event, Flemington Racecourse and Victoria Racing Club have gone above and beyond to get the 18-carat gold Melbourne Cup to the town so that the competitors and supporters of the North West Equestrian Expo supported by Thoroughbred Industry Careers and the people of Coonabarabran can host the Cup.

CUP Appearances:

EXPO COMPETITORS – Saturday afternoon 5th June, Thoroughbred Industry Careers will have the Cup on display near the main office, people are welcome to have photos.

COONABARABRAN RESIDENTS: Sunday morning at 9am, 6th June, the Cup will be at the Coonabarabran Racecourse, for the residents of Coonabarabran to have photos and view the Cup.
