The best part of my day would have to be the adrenaline rush I get when I ride out for trackwork each morning and being able to see the sun rise between trips.

You definitely have bad days and sometimes you have to take a couple of steps back before moving forward. Also you will never know the answer unless you ask, this has definitely been a huge part of my placement and I am so thankful for Chris Waller and his staff for all the help they have given me. I now realize there is a large amount of behind the scenes work that goes into operation a big stable like Chris Wallerโs.

I live with three other girls that work with me as well, so I normally wake up to their alarms going off before mine. My first alarm is at 3.10am and it isnโt easy but as soon as I get to the stables and see all the horses itโs definitely worth it.

Definitely filling boxes. Itโs always at the end of the morning and all I’m thinking about then is breakfast.

I am still interested in nutrition, especially in this industry. However, I believe to be able to feed a working horse, you have to understand all parts of the horse, including training. Working here has definitely increased this interest. Iโm also extremely interested in travelling and seeing how the rest of world operates compared to Australia, I definitely am trying to remain hopefully that I will get the opportunity to travel once the pandemic is over.
